FAQ
Which banks are supported?
Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and Apple Card statements have dedicated parsers. Other banks go through a generic parser that handles many common statement layouts. If yours doesn't import well, send us a report.
Do you store my statements or transactions?
No. Parsing runs on your phone and we don't run a server that stores your data. If you turn on sync, parsed data goes to your own Google Drive or iCloud.
Why do I need to sign in with Google?
Only if you choose Google Drive sync or import PDFs from Drive. The app never asks for your bank login.
How do I use the web companion?
Turn on Google Drive sync on your phone, then open monthly-finance-app.pages.dev on your laptop and sign in with the same Google account. iCloud sync doesn't support the web companion.
The Assistant model download stopped. What now?
Tap Download again; it resumes where it stopped. Use Wi-Fi and keep the app open. The file is 4.9 GB, so make sure your phone has enough free space. See Assistant for details.
How do I delete my data?
Uninstall the app or clear its storage to remove everything on the phone. Synced files live in your own Drive or iCloud; delete the Monthly Finance folder there. See the privacy policy.
Is this financial advice?
No. Monthly Finance organizes your own numbers; it doesn't give financial, tax or investment advice.
